AI Credits
AI credits pay for the AI work ShopperQuiz does for you: Ana in the Quiz Builder and the AI descriptions written for images in your image library. Every plan includes credits.
Credits per plan

Paid plans get a fresh allowance on the 1st of every month (UTC). Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
Free includes a one-time allowance so you can try Ana. It does not refill. Free credits count everything your store has ever used, including anything used while on a paid plan, so cancelling a paid plan does not give you a new free allowance. Stores on a trial, or whose payment is overdue, use the free allowance until their plan is active again.
How credits are used
Credits follow the real cost of the AI work. Small requests use few credits and big jobs use more:

Ana tells you roughly how many credits a large job will use and asks before starting it. A single request can use at most 100 credits.
These do not use AI credits:
- Ask Ana AI in the sidebar on any page outside the Quiz Builder (help with setup, integrations, billing and so on). It is free on every plan. In the builder, the same button opens Ana as your builder, which does use credits.
- The AI Quiz Builder on the Quizzes page (Generate with AI). It has its own monthly number of generations.
Checking your credits
- At the top of Ana's panel in the Quiz Builder ("N credits left")
- In Settings → Plan & Billing, under Usage this month: credits used, your total, and when they reset. The plan cards under Change your plan show how many credits each plan includes.
Running out
When your credits run out, Ana tells you so and stops making changes; anything she already changed stays in the builder and can still be saved. New image uploads are still added to your library, just without an AI description (you can write one yourself). Your quizzes keep working normally on your storefront. AI credits are only used while you build.
To get more, wait for your monthly reset or upgrade your plan in Settings → Plan & Billing. A higher plan's credits apply as soon as the upgrade is active.
