Image Library and Icons

Every image you use in ShopperQuiz lives in one place: your image library. Upload an image once and use it in any quiz, as an answer picture, the welcome image or the logo. ShopperQuiz also includes a set of built-in line icons that are free on every plan.

The Images page

Open Images in the sidebar (under Quizzes) to see your library.

• Upload — click Upload, or drop images anywhere on the page. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF, up to 5 MB each. Uploads need the Starter plan or above.
• Search — find images by name or description.
• Image details — click an image to see and edit its Name and Description, and to see where it is Used in (which quizzes and fields).
• Delete — removes the image for good. If it is still used somewhere, you're told where first; shoppers would see an empty space there until you choose another image.

Images you uploaded before the library existed (welcome images, logos and answer images) were added to it automatically.

AI descriptions

When you upload an image, ShopperQuiz writes a short description of it with AI, for example "Amber glass dropper bottle on a white background". The description is used:

• as the image's alt text for shoppers using screen readers, and
• by Ana to pick the right image when you ask her for one.

You can edit any description, or click Write with AI in the image details to write a new one. Each description uses about 1 AI credit. If you're out of credits, the image is still uploaded, just without a description.

Choosing an image in the builder

Wherever the builder needs a picture, a Choose button opens the picker with two tabs:

• Your images — your library. Search it, or upload new images straight from the picker (Starter and above).
• Icons — built-in line icons. Search in plain words, such as water, leaf, sun or gift, choose a Colour (and a Background colour if you want one behind the icon), and pick one. Icons are free on every plan.

Where it's used:

• Answer pictures — on questions using the Icons or Images answer style, expand an answer and click Choose.
• Welcome image — in the Welcome Screen editor, Choose from library.
• Logo — in Quiz Settings, Choose from library or icons.

You can also paste an image link (https) instead. Links work on every plan, including Free.

Icons in your quiz

Icons are crisp at any size and drawn in the colour you pick, so a set of them looks clean and consistent side by side. They suit the Icons answer style best (a small round picture beside each answer). For the Images style, photos usually look better: use your own images or ask Ana to use your product photos.

Ana can pick icons for you too: "Give every answer on Q2 a matching icon."
